The fuse wire, multi station ring network load switch, and non excited voltage regulating tap changer of this transformer are all installed as components of the transformer in the transformer oil tank. It is easy to replace the fuse wire or operate the load switch outside the oil tank to change the operating conditions of the transformer. The high-voltage side is powered by elbow shaped cables that can be plugged and unplugged with load, and a low-voltage outlet compartment is installed outside the fuel tank. There is space inside the compartment to install protective devices and measuring instruments as required. All live parts are inside the box, with no exposed live parts. Because the main components are all inside the oil tank, we call it a combination transformer instead of a box type substation. But the combination transformer also has the function of a box type substation. There are six cable sockets installed on the high-voltage side, which can connect the transformer to the ring network power supply system and form a ring network power supply system with cabinet type ring mesh boxes or cable branch boxes. So, combination transformers, pedestal transformers, or pad mounted transformer all refer to the same product, with the main body being transformers, not substations.
